Pittsburgh Indian Dr. Madhu Aggarwal Sentenced for Suboxone Distribution Scheme
July 17, 2019 - Madhu Aggarwal (69), an Indian origin doctor from Coraopolis, PA, was sentenced today for offenses related to the unlawful distribution of controlled substances and health care fraud.
The sentencing of Dr. Madhu Aggarwal, a contracted physician at Redirections Treatment Advocates clinic, included:
- Three years of probation
- Six months of home confinement
- $82,973.75 payment in restitution
- Fine of $40,000
- Criminal forfeiture in the amount of $50,000
- 100 hours of community service
